I am finding some advantages to the hazy smoke filled skies in the Twin Cities the last few weeks from the wildfires in Canada. The lighting is excellent for photography and I was able to work with a high school senior and take advantage of the skyline in downtown Minneapolis. This location is typically hard to get at the end of the day because the sunset can glare off the buildings so much. However with a little help from our smoky skies it softened the light beautifully.
Hazy summer days were perfect for her natural style in her photo shoot too. We lucked out there but I do enjoy finding the perfect locations for my clients so they can feel beautiful in their surroundings.
