Keeping it Personal

Considering a location for your next family session? I can help suggest lots of wonderful places but this is a plug for keeping it personal. For this family we just walked  1/2 a block from their urban Minneapolis home to a public park. Just an ordinary park but it was THEIR park. The spot where their son will run and play as he grows up. The background is simple, which keeps the focus on them. And it may look generic to you, but they know exactly where they are in these photos and will forever have memories of their first family portraits taken in THEIR park.

We also took advantage of their bedroom and the steps to their porch at the back of the house. Adding even more magical memories to their new home and neighborhood.
