The finishing touch to this already perfect day for family pictures was that Mom brought a wool blanket she picked up while traveling in Scotland. It was the perfect thing to play with and lay on for some fun with their son. We had a great time exploring all the wonderful things nature had to offer for a curious little boy. He didn't seem to mind the occasional breaks we took for pictures in-between adventures and so we fit quite a few shots into this family session!
