Alli is hands down the best photographer I've ever worked with! I've now done family, kid, extended family and a few headshots with her and she is impeccable. Her eye for catching the light and bringing out the most natural smiles is breathtaking. She has captured some of the most beautiful shots of my girls that I've ever seen. In addition to her photography talents, she has the most unique ways of engaging kids making the whole shoot stress free for the parents and kiddos! We've definitely found the photographer we'll use for all future photos!

Allison did an amazing job!!! It is not easy getting a good picture of my two squirmy girls together, but somehow Allison miraculously made my girls look like little angels! She really captured their personality as well...angels with an edge! She had a way of making my girls feel at ease during the session, so nothing seemed too posed. She was very efficient and fun to work with. It took less that a week before we were able to view our pictures. I can only say that the photos were nothing short of spectacular! The images were highly professional and of great quality. The hardest part of the entire experience was choosing which prints to buy.

Allison is one of the most talented photographers in the TC metro area. This is our third year having family photos taken with her, and this time, we decided to expand the session to include our extended families. Our family was flying in on a specific weekend, and even with just 1 months notice, she was able to accommodate to our schedule that weekend. More importantly, she was a key resource, as I worked through coordinating clothing and locations, providing timely feedback. The day of the photo session, she was on time and managed the whole family professionally. Most amazing was her patience in working through all the combinations of family members, and coming up with the right poses, locations, etc to make sure that we had a good variety of photographs. Our whole family was so impressed. Even before we received our online gallery for viewing, she posted sneak peek pictures on FB, which received rave reviews from all of our friends and family. If you are looking for a reliable, professional photographer who is reasonably priced...Sweet Light Studio is it! We have tried out a number of other photographers in the area, from the time we were married, and Sweet Light is the best. Allison is the ONLY photographer we have gone back to for pictures, and will continue to go back to for years to come!

After having a bad experience with another photographer, we decided to use Sweet Light to have photos retaken. We were thrilled with our photos and the pricing. We purchased a DVD with the proofs of all the photos. The shoot was $150, the DVD was $500. The photos were available for review 3 days after the shoot, which was very prompt. We had requested a specific style (carefree, fun family photos) and she gave us exactly what we asked for. We received a questionnaire prior to the shoot which allowed me to put in specific requests and detail the outfit. My 1.5 year old adored the photographer, she got lots of smiles from him despite the fact it was extremely hot that day. Despite the fact the shoot only lasted about an hour, we received over 100 photos that look like we posed for hours. It was a great experience, I would definitely recommend this studio.

Alli is EXCELLENT to work with! She truly has the ability to work with children and in doing so makes them feel comfortable and confident. I brought my daughter in for modeling head shots and I can honestly say the day was completely stress free. She made everything light and fun and was able to capture some amazing shots that really depict my daughter's spunky personality. Alli picked outfits, suggested hair styles and provided my daughter guidance and direction, alleviating the stress and worry about getting great shots. All I heard were giggles from my daughter and afterwards she said she had a lot of fun. Without a doubt I will use Alli again and will definitely recommend her to all my friends and family. A++

Allison is wonderful to work with.  She offers several packages and add-on options, such as wardrobe consultation and on-site hair and makeup.  If you have a favorite makeup artist, Allison will do her best to accommodate your wishes.  The artist we worked with was recommended by Allison and she was very talented.My daughter had several wardrobe changes and hair/makeup changes.  The shoot took place in studio and also outside.  The proofs were available on line within days and we decided to purchase the entire selection for $500.  There are less expensive options available. The location is in downtown Minneapolis and parking can be a bit of a challenge.  Be sure to bring change for the meter.Overall, a memorable experience.  We will use Allison again in the future.

We came with her cute Halloween costume and Alli was wonderful about creativity with incorporating fun elements to tell a story with the photos. Our little 19 month old was pretty rambunctious and we would have been grateful if she got just one shot of her smiling, cooperating, looking at the camera, etc. However, Alli sent about 40 GORGEOUS photos. She makes everyone look even better than we really do ;), and all the photos of our daughter were priceless. Thank you Alli! This was our 3rd time to use this photographer. The first time was for our daughters newborn photos and I would say that she just made the moment magical. That special part of our life is now documented with these photos that really are works of art. Highly recommend.

My husband and I just wanted some photos taken for fun and to capture our current stage of life. Alli did a fabulous job creating a beautiful set of pictures for us. She even took some pictures of us with my horses, which I will treasure for years! I am always shy in front of the camera, but Alli made the experience fun and memorable. She brought out our personalities because of her own comfort behind the lense. Our friends often comment on the beautiful shots and ask who our photographer was. We are always happy to recommend Alli.

Alli did the most amazing job on my daughter's 2 yr pictures and my son's newborn photos. I have gotten so many compliments from friends! My friends out of state are disappointed they don’t have a photographer as good as Alli! I Am so happy with how flexible she is to work with and how fun she was with the kids, she is so patient and made the shoots more of a play time. She patiently waited while I fed the baby so we could get some non crying shots. I hand out her cards to everyone I know! LOVE LOVE LOVE sweet light studio!
