We are skilled and creative both in the studio and on location. Visit us at our spacious natural daylight studio located NE Minneapolis for studio and/or urban sessions. Or, we will be happy to photograph you in your home or a unique location of your choice.

Meet Allison

owner/photographer

Allison has been behind the camera since she opened a Minneapolis studio in 2001. With a background as a commercial photographer shooting models for companies like Fisher Price, Target, Best Buy, and Parenting Magazine she decided to start a high-end portrait business as well.

It was an easy decision, thus Sweet Light Studio was born and has been an energizing experience along with her ongoing commercial work.

Meet Alyssa

photographer

Alyssa is an award-winning photographer with over 9 years of professional experience. Her photography background is diverse, having received her bachelor of fine arts degree in photography as well as extensive training in a variety of photography genres beyond her formal education. She specializes in portraits and dance photography.

Her love of dance photography began while working as a university photographer at Brigham Young University and grew while working as a photographer and photo editor for the dance company, Hello Dancer. She loves collaborating with dancers to create high quality, artistic images that show off their unique talents.
